Becoming ChangeLine: Where We’re Going

“We aren’t just convening. We are investing in leaders.” - Amber Ptak, CEO

Becoming ChangeLine goes beyond updating our logo. It’s an emblem of our belief that change is possible and non-negotiable.

Many of the systems we rely on for the health of our community are broken, and we can’t fix broken systems with the same thinking that created them. So, rather than working within outdated structures, we’re building new pathways and connections that support large-scale community-led change.

“ChangeLine, to me, represents the energy and the action that we feel around changing systems.”

We believe that real change happens when people come together with a purpose. But collaboration alone isn’t enough to solve the most challenging issues we face today. It requires a human-centered approach that elevates lived experience, invests in new ways of thinking and leading, challenges traditional power dynamics, and is rooted in fairness and human dignity.

By unlocking and channeling the collective power of our community, we believe we can build a future where:

  • People not only participate in change, they drive it.

  • Leaders are equipped to prevent crises instead of just responding to them.

  • Systems work effectively for the people they’re meant serve.

  • Everyone matters.

In this third and final installment of our short video series, Becoming ChangeLine, CEO Amber Ptak shares how our commitment to community-driven systems change is shaping not only our future, but the future of our region.
