Our work in:
Community Building
The solutions to our region’s most complex problems don’t come from quick fixes or siloed efforts.
They come from people who know each other and trust one another enough to stay at the table when things get hard. These relationships are foundational for any lasting change or building things that no one organization can, but they are only created and sustained with intentional investment in them.
Work in action
Building community continues to be long-term work at ChangeLine, both within our walls and out in the community. This work is sometimes very visible, and sometimes quietly behind the scenes, but it’s always happening:
Creating and managing a space for people to gather and collaborate
Creating new opportunities where lived experience and institutional power can meet
Hosting regular events, trainings, and workshops around fostering connection and shared understanding
Cultivating a staff with deep, authentic roots in the communities we are working in
Focusing on ways to build relational capacity as a core practice
A Hub for Connection
Work in Focus
In 2024, ChangeLine moved into a new building that now serves as a home for our mission and a hub for connection across the region. But it’s more than a space—it’s an expression of how we believe change happens.
From the beginning, we intentionally set out to create a place that was welcoming, energizing, and full of possibility. In just the first year, we’ve hosted advocacy workshops, community trainings, strategic planning sessions, volunteer mobilizations, and celebrations of every kind.
The building has become a place where relationships are deepened and collective power is built, one gathering at a time.
