Our work in:

Social Connection

Social connection is how people experience belonging, build relationships, and stay connected to support. It’s critical for a healthy community and is one of the most powerful protective factors against depression, substance use, and suicide.

When people have strong social networks:

  • They are more likely to seek and stay engaged in care

  • Recovery outcomes improve and relapse risk decreases

  • Neighborhoods become more resilient and responsive

  • People experience a greater sense of stability

Work in action

At ChangeLine, we work to strengthen social connection
across our community.

That often looks like:

Supporting neighborhood and community efforts that create opportunities for connection and belonging

Strengthening the systems that help people build relationships and access support

Bringing together partners to better understand social isolation and align on community-driven solutions
