Amber Ptak

Amber Ptak (she/her) is the Chief Executive Officer of ChangeLine (formerly Community Health Partnership), where she leads bold work to transform how communities come together to tackle complex health and social challenges. A strategist, convener, and changemaker, Amber drives collaborative leadership and systems change that improves health, equity, and belonging across the region.
Under Amber’s leadership, ChangeLine has evolved into a recognized force for systems change, incubating social impact initiatives, developing new generations of collaborative leaders, and convening partners to tackle issues from homelessness to behavioral health to LGBTQ+ equity. She is known for combining big-picture strategy with a grounded ability to move ideas into action, ensuring that bold visions translate into measurable outcomes. She is passionate about building resilient leadership systems that prevent burnout, center equity, and cultivate belonging.
Amber’s career spans more than two decades at the intersection of health, philanthropy, and social impact. She has held leadership roles at UCHealth Memorial Hospital, the Gill Foundation, and El Paso County Public Health, and has served as a strategy consultant for organizations in both the U.S. and New Zealand. From advancing HIV/AIDS prevention in Michigan, to spearheading systems-level initiatives in Colorado, she has built a reputation for combining vision with execution, helping organizations and communities unlock their collective power.
Originally from Michigan, Amber holds a bachelor’s degree in community health from Western Michigan University and a master’s in public administration from the University of Colorado - Colorado Springs. She is deeply engaged in civic life, serving on the Downtown Partnership’s Board of Directors and having chaired the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum, Pikes Peak Funders Forum, Partners in Philanthropy, and the GIVE! Campaign.
