Nicholas Mowes

Nicholas has lived in Colorado Springs, for the second time, since 2020. He first moved here in 2004 as a military dependent when his father was stationed at Fort Carson. He loved it so much that he just had to come back.

He returns as a licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience providing therapy, clinical supervision, and leadership in both medical and military settings. Having earned a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California, Nicholas has been practicing social work since 2012.

Before moving into private practice, Nicholas served as a mental health therapist and program leader for the military, where he developed and led prevention and resilience programs focused on suicide prevention, workplace stress, and integrated behavioral health. He’s excited to contribute his expertise to ChangeLine’s work.

Nicholas enjoys spending quality time with his wife Andrea and their five children. When he’s not working on cars or woodworking projects, you can find him in the great outdoors either running, hiking, camping, hunting, or fishing.
