Okany Rivas serves as a Regional Health Connector for El Paso and Teller Counties through the Front Range Area Health Education Center (FRAHEC) and as a Career Navigator through the Attainment Network to the Upskill Program, a regional workforce initiative supporting healthcare career advancement across Southern Colorado. Her work bridges health, education, and economic systems to build pathways that empower individuals to achieve long-term stability and well-being.

With a background spanning nonprofit leadership, education, and entrepreneurship, Okany brings a holistic understanding of how wraparound support and collaborative problem-solving can strengthen communities. After years of working directly with students, healthcare partners, and community organizations, she remains deeply committed to expanding access and opportunity for underserved populations across Colorado.

Okany is proud to serve on the ChangeLine Board of Directors and continues to advocate for equitable systems that value every individual’s potential. Her greatest motivation comes from her family and her belief that strong, connected communities create lasting change.
